I’m definitely no makeup expert but I do have some favorites and I tend to stick with products I really love for years and years. I don’t do too well with change when it comes to beauty products that’s for sure. Below are my go to everyday essentials that I’ve tried and tested and have used over the last few years and why I like them!

Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick (which I use for concealer)

I don’t really use this as foundation since I rarely put on full coverage makeup for my day to day. I use this as my daily concealer which means I went one shade lighter than my foundation shade/skin tone. My favorite part is definitely the packaging. I think it’s so convenient and compact compared to how other concealers are packaged. I love being able to just swipe it on my face without using a brush or my fingers. I also find most concealers I’ve tried to be too dry over time especially in the winter, while this one stays moist which is important for someone with very dry skin like myself. I certainly recommend it as a concealer but I can’t say so much about it as a foundation since I’ve never used it for that purpose and given that I don’t really use foundation, I won’t have a real basis of comparison.
Tom Ford Soleil Glow Bronzer in Gold Dust

This one, I LOVE! I use this to contour my face mainly my cheek bones and nose area. It can be a splurge but it’s definitely worth it. This product 100% lasts throughout the day and I love the packaging which is always a bonus. It comes in two sizes and I have the smaller one since I want it to fit in my small purses and I want to get a fresh pack rather than holding on to a huge size for a longer period.

Definitely my go to. I’ve used this for too long now and I just find that it’s the perfect shade for me. I especially love how it blends perfectly with the Tom Ford bronzer. Plus, don’t have to dab too much to get enough product so it always takes me a really long time to finish the whole case.
Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Vanilla Quartz

Another favorite! This I would say is my favorite part when putting on my makeup. Well also because it’s the last part which means I’m done! LOL
I’ve used other highlighters before and this one really stuck with me. It’s very natural and soft and it doesn’t scream HIGHLIGHTER!! if you know what I mean? LOL like I hate it when I see someone’s face and see the highlighter so obvious and loud. This one really blends well especially when I put it in the corners of my eyes.
Bobbi Brown Eye Shadow in Mahogany

Okay here’s another product I use differently from what it’s suppose to be. I use this as my eyebrow powder which I learned from our wedding makeup artist- from nearly 10 years ago now wow. I line my brows with eyebrow pencil and fill it up with this. But really, if you use the thin brow brush, you can use this to do the whole thing and it works just fine. I can truly say that this one lasts throughout the day no matter how hot it gets, it stays. I don’t even have to use a brow gel and it will stay. I do have to say that I have very dry skin so there’s not much oil that would probably cause products to come off more easily. I’ve used this as an eye shadow a few times too and it doesn’t fall out on your face when you’re putting it on so that’s good.
Sephora Classic Double Ended – Powder & Blush

If I had to only keep one brush, this would definitely be it. I guess that’s cheating since there’s two on this but still, I don’t carry any other brush except for this and one small blender brush. I use the angle brush side for my bronzer and blush and use the powder side to blend. Super space saver!

Nothing much to say but that it’s the best lash curler out there. PLUS it’s rose gold so it’s cute in your makeup kit!
Buxom PlumpLine Lip Liner in Hush Hush

Last for now, but certainly not the least. I’ve tried so many nude lipsticks but they’re always too sticky, too dry, too light, etc. I found the perfect shade and texture in this one. Yes, it’s a lip liner but I use it as a lipstick. It’s matte but it doesn’t feel dry and although it’s not one of those that stay on forever even when you’re eating/drinking, I kind of like it that way- I don’t really have a problem with having to retouch after a meal.
