People or kids may ask, are bad spirits/evil spirits real? 

Yes, we read it in the Bible all the time. Jesus driving out evil spirits. The thing is, they are not spirits of people who died which unfortunately is what a lot of people think they are. We have to remember that the enemy is very deceiving. That is his main characteristic and his main goal is to take us away from our focus on God- our one main focus.

People get deceived and think they saw the spirit or the ghost of someone they know that have died- it doesn’t work that way. The enemy can disguise himself into anything to make people believe what he wants them to believe. Again, his number one goal is to deceive, to lie. This is how he’s always been — from the beginning in the garden of Eden, and until now. The setting and scenarios may change but his techniques are the same. The sad part is, people (we) fall for it all the time.

The enemy’s goal is to divert our focus away from our one ultimate ever powerful God.

So, let’s think of it this way: if you are putting part of your attention and focus on something else apart from God, think again. If you believe in God AND on something else, then that is not God. If you trust in God AND on something else, then that is not God. If you put your faith in God AND on something else, then that is not God. If you pray, ask guidance, and call on God AND to something else, then that is absolutely not God. Keep your focus on Him and Him alone.

Get to know your God and read your bible. Let’s stop relying on hearsay and prioritize our relationship with Him. I thought I knew God but when you read and STUDY the Bible, you understand way deeper and get to know Him so much more.
